"And we ask thee, Holy Father, that thy servants may go forth from this house armed with thy power, and that thy name may be upon them, and thy glory be round about them, and thine angels have charge over them;
And from this place they may bear exceedingly great and glorious tidings, in truth, unto the ends of the earth, that they may know that this is thy work, and that thou hast put forth thy hand, to fulfill that which thou hast spoken by the mouths of the prophets, concerning the last days." All my life I have prepared for the day I would enter the Temple and receive my endowment. However, I always thought of it as part of the "Marriage preparation" process because I didn't ever truly see myself going on a mission. However, I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to enter the Holy House of God and and receive my Endowment.
I am grateful for the choices I have made in my life to keep myself worthy of the Temple. I am thankful for the people that I have been blessed with to help me prepare to Enter into the House of God, and for the people that I was able to share this experience with. I have been so blessed with so many wonderful friends and family members and I do not know what I would do without them.
It was breathtaking! It was everything I imagined and more, and yet nothing that I had ever thought of. It is so worth keeping myself clean for. The spirit was overwhelming and the beauty of the Temple was more than words can say. I am looking forward to being able to attend the Temple for the next 5 months as I prepare for my mission!
